Sutter Home (not Shutter) is one of those wines that a true oenophile (wine lover) would likely shun. It may even come in a bottle with a screw cap, no cork. I have heard however, that in the interest of “going green”, wines with screw caps are becoming more acceptable since there is a global cork shortage. I keep my corks and make trivets out of them. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
Returning to the matter at hand, no matter how inexpensive the wine, you should still try to get the name right. Although I wonder — is this how the name sounds when one has had a few too many?
