An upcoming holiday weekend always gets people thinking about the weather. Will it be warm enough to have that last great summer picnic, but not so warm that the potato salad will spoil in ten minutes? Will the kids be able to go in the (lake, pool, ocean) — and provide their own entertainment for a few hours? Will I need to wear SPF 70?
To my friends and family on the East coast, who are waiting to see what, if anything, Hurricane Earl will bring, I say, keep one eye on the sky. Last night we had quite an electrical storm, which woke me from a sound sleep. The good news is that we really needed the rain.
Maybe we should think about heading to our local blueberry farm this weekend to see if there’s anything left on the bushes. It’s ok with me if it’s “couldy”.
