Art Fair Apostrophes

The Susans aren’t the only lazy thing at this art fair.

While Shipshewana on the Road didn’t offer much in the way of editing fodder, the annual art fair did not disappoint. Not only did this booth display a lovely selection of creative wares, they also proudly displayed their misunderstanding of the apostrophe. Just because “Susan” is a proper name doesn’t mean that the apostrophe should be used to show possession. In this context it should just be “Lazy Susans”, plural.
