I think I have discovered my calling in life. Remember Schoolhouse Rock? I grew up on it. I think every American in their 40’s can recite the Preamble to the Constitution because of Schoolhouse Rock. They know what conjunctions and interjections are because of Schoolhouse Rock. Many also have a hero named Zero, and know that three is a magic number.
Schoolhouse Rock never covered punctuation — only grammar, history, science and math. I’ll write the songs if someone else can compose the music. Then, maybe I won’t have to endure these misplaced apostrophes EVERYWHERE I GO. Who’s with me?

Have you read Jasper Fforde’s “The Eyre Affair”? He has an interesting explanation for the increasing prevalence of unnecessary apostrophes. . .
I guess I will have to pick it up and find out what his theory is.
